Conn's Syndrome (2)	

The prevalence of Conn's Syndrome (primary hyperaldosteronism) is not clear. Some have suggested that approximately two per cent of all subjects with hypertension have primary hyperaldosteronism and, of these, some seventy per cent have a unilateral adrenal adenoma and approximately thirty per cent have bilateral hyperplasia of the zona glomerulosa (Fig. 10.5).
